Narrative:
Dr. Bazarnic's special interest include breast imaging and nuclear medicine. Dr. Bazarnic has served as the Breast Imaging Section Chief. During her tenure as the section chief, she spearheaded the transition to digital mammography and ACR accreditation, championed the start of automated breast ultrasound screening (ABUS), and initiated the addition of 3D mammography (tomosynethesis). Further, Dr. Bazarnic has been a regular speaker at "Pink Power Night". Dr. Bazarnic's expertise extends to Nuclear Medicine with an interest in PET/CT imaging and radioactive iodine therapy for thyroid disease.
